The Doc (Martin Clunes) is in need of a bit of distance from the small village of Port Issac, so when the local real estate agent shows him the ramshackle, middle-of-nowhere property Tregrunnt Farm, it's love at first sight. Unfortunately, the Bowden family from London also have their eye on the property for holiday cottages.
